Nancy Jean (Lowry) Dallum

Nancy Jean (Lowry) Dallum, 68, of Duluth, MN died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at home with John by her side.

Nancy was born in Duluth on October 6, 1955 to Richard and Mary Lowry. She went to Duluth East High School and graduated in 1974. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Education from University of Minnesota, and her Master of Education degree from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Nancy was an elementary school teacher in Duluth where she taught at Chester Park, Woodland, Lakewood and Lester Park.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Benjamin Dallum.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John; sons, Marcus (Amanda) and Timothy (Sarah); daughter, Allison (Stephen) Maziarka; grandchildren, Jackson, Max, Franklin, Walter, Rosemary, Archie and Reggie. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Nielsen (Pete); brothers, John (Becky) Lowry, Bill (Crys) Lowry, Patrick (Diane) Lowry, and Michael (Jayne) Lowry; countless nieces and nephews and the Dallum family.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to Dr. Daniel Nikcevich and the entire oncology team for their incredible care for Nancy over the past 23 years.

Visitation to be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 4th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 4901 E Superior St, with Memorial Service to follow at 10:00 AM.
