Mimi Lavone Frazer, 86, of Duluth, MN, died peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Diamond Willow in Lester Park. She was born on March 19, 1936 in Crow Wing County, MN, the daughter of the late Frank “Fritz” and Pearl Frazer.
Mimi lived in Minnesota, Florida, New York, and California during her life. During her working years, she was employed as a Nanny and loved children.
The kindest of people, with a heart of gold and never an unkind word, we are sure she was met by her Lord and Savior with a huge embrace. Mimi could always be counted on for her hugs, a lot of laughs, and her beautiful spirit. Unfortunately, she took her anti-aging secret to the grave.
Mimi is preceded in death was her parents; and sisters, Connie McDonough, Bonnie Kempffer, and Joanne Stanfield.
Mimi left behind many nieces and nephews, but she was especially close to her sister’s children, Tricia Mazurowski and Kristy Thompson, with whom she held a special bond.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 2nd at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Visitation at 1:00 PM and Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, her family would prefer donations be given to your local animal shelter in her memory.
