Linda Gail Galeski

Linda Gail Galeski, 72, of Duluth Township passed away on July 10, 2023 at Hilltop Healthcare Assisted Living.

Linda was born in Duluth, MN to Dick and Alice Peterson on Nov. 4, 1950. She went to Clover Valley High School and graduated in 1969, and then went on to Votech. She worked as a secretary for WDIO and then on to Retail Clerks Local 1116 Union Office as a computer operator and programmer.

Linda married Paul “Chip” Galeski on Aug. 25, 1979. They had two daughters and she stayed home to raise their girls.

Linda enjoyed being a mom, grandma, and wife. She loved to travel, clean, and bake. She also loved summer, where you could find her in her gardens and at the cabin.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Robert and Vivian Galeski; and son-in-law, Mike Anderson.

Linda will be terribly missed by her husband of nearly 44 years, Chipper Galeski; daughters, Sara (Rob) Haveri and Jen Anderson; grandchildren, Logan and Madison Haveri, and Emmie Anderson; brothers, Bill (Bev) Peterson and Tim (Tammy) Peterson; brother-in-law, Michael Galeski; aunt, Bette Kinghorn; and nephews, cousins, and close friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Christine Meilach from Directions for Life; Cindy Richey, Justin, Jesse, Jalie and others from Hilltop Healthcare; and Rebecca, Kate, Krystal and others from St. Croix Hospice.

Visitation to be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 19th at Park Hill Cemetery Chapel, 2500 Vermilion Rd, with Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
