Obituary
Kathleen "Kathy" Ann DeRosier, 55, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Kathy was born on Sept. 17, 1967 to James Copeland and Eileen (Kludinski) Belliveau in Duluth. She grew up in Hermantown, and went to Hermantown High School, Class of ‘86. Kathy was kind and sensitive. She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially puzzles and conversation over a good cup of coffee. She loved her family. She had struggles in life but always seemed to look for the positive side of things.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, James (Kari) Copeland and Eileen (Ed) Belliveau; ex-husband, Doug DeRosier; and ex-mother-in-law, Marianne Patton.
Kathy is survived by her sons, Alex, Scott, Travis and Brandon DeRosier; daughters, Marissa and Koral DeRosier; 5 grandchildren; sister, Teresa Rosseau; brothers, Jim (Margie) Copeland, Brian (Patty) Copeland, Andrew Copeland and Chris (Lisa Capelani) Copeland; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 19th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
