Jack William Olson

Jack William Olson, 67, of Meadowlands MN, passed away on May 18, 2022 at Essentia with his wife and children by his side.

Jack was born on April 27, 1955 in Hibbing, MN., to Bill and AuDella Olson. He graduated in 1973 from Toivola-Meadowlands High School.  During his teenage years he worked at Lahti Farms, then later, as a Maintenance Mechanic for United Taconite, retiring after 42 years.

On Oct 4th, 1975, Jack married, Cyndee “Cyn” Snickers. Together they enjoyed rides in the side-by-side, camping with the RV, and spending time with family and friends. Jack is known for his meticulous care of his yard, vehicles, and toys. He was a “Jack” of all trades and always willing to lend a helping hand.  Jack especially will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.

Jack is survived by his Wife, Cyndee. His two children, Kimberly (Mick) Erickson of Apple Valley, MN., and Joshua (Lydia) Olson of Port St. Lucie, FL.  Four grandchildren; Blake and Jack Erickson, and Hunter and Alexander Olson. His brothers: John (Cathy) Olson and Joe (Diane) Olson.  His sisters: Jeanette (Dennis) Wain and Joan (Mike) Benish. Brother In-Laws: Steve (Barb) Snickers, Scott (Deb) Snickers, Tim (Gail) Snickers, Brad (Brenda) Snickers. Sister In-Laws:  Beth Talbot, Cheryl (Rick) Dunbar. Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and AuDella Olson; Father In-Law and Mother In-Law, Carl and Susie Snickers.   

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on May 21st from 3:00 to 6:00 at The Trailside Lounge & Grill, 9994 Spruce St., Meadowlands, MN 55765.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be preferred.
