Harold Elmer Martin Jr., 70, of Duluth, MN passed away on Oct. 28, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born at the US Naval Hospital at Camp Lejune in Jacksonville, NC to Helen (Lung) and Harold Martin Sr. on September 29, 1951.

Harold graduated from Barnum High School class of 1969. He attended the Duluth Area Vocational Technical Institute where he completed an Associate Degree. Upon graduation, he took a position as an Assistant Food Service Manager at the John Deere Plant in Dubuque, IA. He enjoyed all outdoor activities but most of all his favorite thing was taking on the role of “Bumpa”. He received the Eagle Scout award and was involved in scouting, t-ball, little league and football. He enjoyed donating his time and talents to “his kids” (students from UMD). He always went the extra mile to give a lending hand to anyone in need.
