Elsie Irene Lundberg

Elsie I Lundberg, age 88 of Duluth, entered into everlasting life on April 1, 2016 with her family by her side at Benedictine Health Center.   She was born on January 17, 1928 to Fred and Flora Salo on the family farm. She attended McGregor High School. On June 22, 1946 she was united in marriage to William Lundberg. Together they raised 6 children. Elsie worked for St. Louis County Food Service for 22 years until her retirement in 1990. She was a member & Sunday School teacher at Homecroft Presbyterian Church and a member of Pike Lake Community Church. She will be forever remembered for her Wisdom, Faith, Compassion, All the Fruits of the Spirit, Passion for her family and a heart of pure gold. Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl Salo, George Salo, Wayne Salo, John Salo; sisters, Florence Jensen, Ellyne Stepan; and grandson Monty Lyons. Elsie is survived by her husband, William Lundberg; children, Rodney (Paulette) Lundberg, Cathy Beaver, Micheal Lundberg, Gloria Lundberg, Susan (Jeffrey) Silvertson, Debbie (Daniel) Lathrop; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Annie (Bob) Schnetzler of Auburn CA; numerous nieces, nephews, exstended family members, and friends.
