Connie McDonough

Connie McDonough, 64, passed away on August 28th surrounded by her loving family after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Connie was born to Frank "Fritz" and Pearl Frazer on June 15, 1953. Connie graduated from Denfeld High School in 1971. She worked as a nurse in the Duluth area for many years. She lived in Duluth most of her life before moving to Tarpon Springs, Florida in the winters and the cabin in Brainerd, Minnesota in the summers. More than anything, Connie loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pearl Frazer. She is survived by her husband, Jim McDonough; daughters, Tricia (John) Mazurowski and Kristy (Dann Lickness) Thompson; stepsons, Brian (Jane) McDonough, Barry (Jennifer) McDonough, and Bert (Teresa) McDonough; sisters, Joanne Stanfield, Mimi Frazer, and Bonnie (Babe) Kempffer; many nieces and nephews; and family & friends who loved her. VISITATION: 2 pm Friday, September 8th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with a celebration of life to follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate money to your local animal humane society.
