Burnell Lorraine Bushey Prudhomme (Winter), 97, of Hermantown, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
She was born in Duluth to Edna & Oscar Anderson on April 2, 1925.
Burnell worked as a school cook at Jefferson, then the St Louis County Courthouse, and finally with Tourist Information because she loved telling people where to go. Burnell loved croqueting, knitting, sewing, and embroidery. She was known as the “cookie lady” in her neighborhood.
Burnell was preceded in death by husband and true love, Bud Bushey; hearts companion beloved, John Winter; great-grandson, Tyler; brothers, Robert and Lloyd; sister, Ruth; son-in-law, Bruce Holm; and daughter-in-law, Linda.
Burnell is survived by her children, Edward Bushey, Ronald (Linda) Bushey, and Carol Holm; grandchildren, Amy (Josh), Rob (Shiela), Niki (Dan), Mike (Jody), Steve (Tonya), Ronda, Lisa and Kadee (Jamison); great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dan, Kadin, Sawyer, Zane, Neysa, Sofia, Greta, Henry, William, Jayden, Cade, Brooklyn, Jake, Lexie, Ethan and Collin; great-great-grandchildren, Brexlie and Hudson; sister, Marilyn Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
