Bernice Viola Jewell, 94, of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 at Franciscan Health Center.
Bernice was born on December 29, 1922 to Albert and Bertha Combrey in Thief River Falls, MN. She was married to Clifford E. Jewell on April 10, 1951. She worked as a waitress at the Highland Supper Club for 30 plus years.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bertha; her husband, Clifford; and son-in-law, Larry Gressman.
Bernice is survived by her daughters, Debra Gressman, Sandra Allen, Shirley (Al) Overby, Barbara (Robert) Harmon; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bernice was greatly loved and will be missed by family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, on Tuesday, November 28th at 1:00 pm with a visitation one-hour prior.
Bernice's family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you for the love and care that was given to Mom at Franciscan Health Center.
