Amy Jane Onraet

Amy “Tweetz” Jane Onraet, 57, of Saginaw, MN, passed away on April 13th, 2021 in Twig, MN.

Amy was born in Duluth, MN at St. Mary's hospital to Henry and Elaine (Bellock) Onraet on February 26th, 1964. She graduated from Hermantown High School in 1983. She went on to earn a degree in horticulture from Duluth Votec. She worked at Hammerlund Nursery enjoying her passion for plants for 10 years, Edgewood Vista in the kitchen for 7 years, and most recently Menards for just shy of 3 years. Amy enjoyed rocking out to good music, gardening, fishing, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and spending time with friends and family.

Amy will be missed for her fun and loving nature and for the wonderful mother and grandmother she was. She was a good hearted person who would help anyone she could and had a very giving heart.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Maurice, Charlie, Harlan and Tim.

Amy is survived by her loving boyfriend, Dean Robertson; children, Mathew and Mark Johnson; her children’s father, Kenny Johnson; grandchildren; sisters, Lynn, Rachel, Jackie and Liz; brother, John; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 22nd at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with service to follow at 12pm. Amy’s family requests you plant a tree or flower in the earth in honor of her love for nature.
