Yvonne Lorraine Sherer, 77, of Duluth, went to her eternal home on Saturday, March 3, 2018, peacefully with her family by her side. Yvonne was born September 13, 1940, in Cass Lake Minnesota to Viola and Clifford Sherer Sr. She was a graduate of Denfeld High School and began her profession in the medical field. She served at St. Mary's Hospital for 49 years, ending as a surgical tech. Yvonne was a wonderful daughter, sister, sister-in-law, auntie, and friend to many. Yvonne enjoyed spending time at her lake property at Sturgeon Lake. There 5 generations enjoyed camping together. Time with her family meant everything to her. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Yvonne is survived by her siblings, Sharon (Byron) Burk, Noreen (Dick) Pyle, Deonne Sherer, and Clifford (Barb) Sherer Jr; 9 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews; 12 great-great-nieces and nephews; and co-worker and friend, Nellie. The family wishes to thank Barnes Care and her niece, Angie, for the loving care they provided. VISITATION: 12pm Tuesday, March 13th at Faith Baptist Church, 5693 Maple Grove Rd, Hermantown, with funeral service to follow at 1pm.
