Vivian Irene Nelson, 72, of Hermantown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 8, 2019. Vivian was born in St. Paul, MN on October 24, 1946. She went to Denfeld High School and graduated in 1964. She worked for the Proctor School District, before retiring after many years. Vivian loved watching sports, crafting with her girls, and reading. She was known for her sense of humor, and could never get a joke out without laughing. Vivian was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Lambrecht. Vivian is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond; daughters, Brooke (Ryan) Marple and Kelly (J.J.) Hraban; granddaughter, Piper Marple; sisters, Francine Knight and Kathleen Roark; and granddog, Luda. Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 16th at the AAD Shrine, 5152 Miller Trunk Hwy, with gathering of friends and families immediately following.
