Virginia A. Jarvis, 93, of Superior, died Tuesday September 10, 2013 in her residence.  She was born in Duluth on June 28, 1920 to John and Anna (Prohazka) Swenson.  She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Twig, MN, and a member of the Women's VFW Axillary in Cloquet.  Virginia loved baking, cooking, gardening and time spent at the lake.  She never had a bad thing to say about anyone, and was loved by all who knew her.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you the staff at St. Mary's Hospice for the kind and compassionate care Virginia and fluffy received.  Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son and daughter-in-law Bill and Becky, granddaughter Katie, grandson Kent, brother Bill Swenson, and a sister Ruby Young. Virginia is survived by her daughter Louise (Steve) Chicras of Superior, granddaughter Pamela (Ryan Sepion) Chicras of Superior, grandson Kevin (Rosa Erickson) Jarvis of Superior, siblings Violet Saliin of Duluth, Betty (Oscar) Blom of Cloquet, John (Jean) Swenson of Duluth, Gus (Sharon) Swenson of Culver, Emma Hyttinen of Buffalo, MN, Mary (Irvin) Perala of Blaine, MN and Margie Newsome of Orlando, FL, many special nieces and nephews, and her dog Fluffy.
