Ginger A. Nelson, age 72 of Duluth, passed away on September 28, 2015. She was born on September 30, 1942, to Glen and Inez Wiles. Ginger grew up in the Duluth area and graduated from Central High School. She went onto Lake Superior Technical College for nursing administration. Ginger was united in marriage to James Nelson and was the mother of four beautiful children. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, taking care of neighborhood children, dancing, going on trips and making friends along the way.   Ginger is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Inez Wiles; husband, James Nelson; and daughter, Linda Nelson. Ginger is survived by her three children, Wayne Nelson, Russ (Alesa) Nelson and Glen (Meghan) Nelson; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Sunrise Cemetery.
