Twyla J. Saarela, 54, of Duluth, died Saturday November 23, 2013 in essential Health, St. Mary's Hospital.  She was born in Duluth to Clyde and Dorothy Zoltek on February 17, 1959.  Twyla had been a longtime employee of SMDC, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, and was generous without fault to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a son Reed (Kathleen R. Heinonen) Saarela, brothers Steve (Loretta) Zoltek of Duluth, Anthony (Clara) Zoltek of Anchorage, AK, and Clyde (Lori) Zoltek Jr. of Duluth, sisters Debbie (Keith) Masker of Spearfish, SD, and Dorthea Zoltek, and numerous nieces and nephews.
