Twila "Tide" Darlene Pearson, 74, of Duluth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her childhood home on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Tide was born on April 30, 1946 to John and Agnes Pearson. She grew up on the family farm in Duluth, MN and was a 1964 graduate of Hermantown High School. She was a lifelong lover of animals and was at home with the cows, horses, and family pets. Tide was known for adopting dogs and cats and cared for them up until her life ended. She had a "green thumb" and grew many beautiful house plants and flowers. Tide loved her family dearly and always enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Tide was preceded in death by her parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and DeDe Pearson.

Tide is survived by her children, Geri (Shawn) McGivern, Blake (Katie) Cederstrom, Dan (Sue) Cederstrom, and Becky (Dave) Leffler; grandchildren, Kendall (Camerone) Sexe, Dan (Dana) Leffler, Taryn Cederstrom, Abbey Leffler, Hannah Cederstrom, John Leffler, Chloe Cederstrom, Ben Cederstrom, Will Cederstrom, Griffin McGivern, Cade McGivern, and Hudson Cederstrom; great-grandson, Leonard Sexe; brother, Ben (Kathy) Pearson; nephews, nieces, and many other family members and friends.

Plans for a Celebration of Life are to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Animal Humane Society.
