Obituary

Tricia K. Bakken (Sherman) passed away on October 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of profound kindness and unwavering faith. She was an amazing soul who dedicated her life to loving God and spreading warmth to everyone she met. Tricia was a gifted creator who found great joy in cooking, baking, knitting, and sewing. She poured her heart into her hobbies, beautifully crafting handmade gifts and delicious treats that will be forever cherished by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Diana R. Sherman.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jasper Solverson (Jasmin Bakken); her grandchildren, Zeddicus and Xenia; her devoted parents, Pat and Glenda Sherman; and her sister's loving family: Tracy and Jake Mangan, her nephews Sean and Nick Mangan, and her niece Olivia Mangan.

Her family was her greatest joy, and we take comfort in knowing she is peacefully in the arms of her Savior. Her kindness, gracious heart, and joyful gift-giving left a beautiful mark on our souls that we will carry forward forever.

A memorial service hosted by her friends will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Vineyard (3833 East Superior St.). A separate family memorial service will take place in the summer of 2027.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those wishing to honor Tricia’s memory make a donation to the Humane Society, a cause close to her heart.
