Todd Michael Hallberg, 52, of Duluth, MN, passed away on September 8, 2026, surrounded by family and friends at Essentia Hospital.

Born on May 12, 1974, to Dennis and Arlene Hallberg in Virginia, MN, Todd was raised on the Iron Range in Cherry, MN. During those early years, he developed a deep appreciation for the lakes, rivers, and natural beauty of northern Minnesota, enjoying countless adventures with his close-knit family.

Todd spent his high school years living on Pike Lake and attending Proctor High School. He continued his education at Mankato State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Todd was ready to explore the world and see where life would take him.

He traveled with a friend through Central and South America, where he learned to scuba dive and surf. His adventurous spirit eventually led him to Los Angeles, CA, where he worked in sales and marketing for his brother, Toik's, custom motorcycle business. During this time, Todd developed his own brand of wine and Mezcal.

Always drawn to adventure and new experiences, Todd headed south of the border to Sayulita, Mexico, where he opened his own establishment, honoring the traditional agave plant and culture of Mexico. He loved the people, the places, and the experiences he found there, and along the way made many friends whom he cherished deeply.

Todd was open-hearted and lived life on his own terms. He found joy in music, adventure, travel, friendship, and the simple pleasure of sharing experiences with the people around him. His curiosity about the world and his willingness to embrace new adventures made his life one filled with stories, friendships, and memories that will live on in those who knew and loved him.

Todd was proceeded by his father, Dennis Hallberg and brother, Toik Hallberg.

Todd is survived by his mother, Arlene Hallberg; sisters, Coralee Mary (Andy) and Shawna Hallberg; six nieces; one grandniece; and two grandnephews.

His adventurous spirit, generous heart, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
