Obituary

Tom Arbour passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

For the past three years, Tom has dearly missed his beloved wife, Betty, who preceded him in death. Now they are together again.

Tom was born on November 15, 1945 and from that day forward he has had a generous heart and a joyful spirit. He freely shared his time and talents with everyone he knew, and he found great happiness in helping others. He loved volunteering with Take a Senior Fishing, North Country Ride, and the Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad, where his kindness, humor, and hard work touched many lives.

His most recent adventure was golf ball rescuing at Grandview Golf Course. Day or night, Tom was always on the lookout, and he faithfully guarded his favorite honey holes. With true Tom generosity, he donated all the money from his golf ball rescue operation to Animal Allies, helping animals in need.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Lynn Houston (Jack); two grandchildren, Andrew Davidson (Ann) and Derek Davidson (Xiomara); and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Xariel; as well as Chris and Cassie Klatte and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 10, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Grandview Bar & Grill.

He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. His love, laughter, and giving spirit will live on in all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers if you could please donate to Animal Allies in Tom's name to let his legacy live on.
