Theresa Marie Jurek, 83, of Proctor, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Solvay Hospice House. She was born to Charles & Mary Machacek on July 31, 1934. Theresa worked in food service at St. Mary's for 16 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Theresa was preceded in death by her infant son, Tommy; and siblings, Lorraine Illerbrunn, Madeline Rohde, Florence Davidson, Charles Machacek, Donald Machacek, and Lucille Domres. Theresa is survived by her children, Debbie (Robert) Palmquist, Jackie Jensen, Terence Jurek, and Tim (Heather) Jurek; grandchildren, Ryan Palmquist, Eric Palmquist, Shawn Palmquist, Brianne (Blaine) Johnson, Brittany (Joe) Volp, Ally Jurek, Brady Jurek, and Will Jurek; great-grandchildren, Kendra and Kelso Johnson; siblings, Mary (Tom) Mann and James (Marsha) Machacek; and sister-in-laws, Elaine Machacek and Betsy Machacek. VISITATION: 10 am Wednesday, November 1st at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with funeral service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Solvay Hospice House. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Essentia Hospice and Solvay for their exceptional care of Theresa.
