Theodore V. Stenzinger II, 72, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly in his home at 11:05 pm, on Sunday, May 14th, 2017. He leaves his wife of almost 47 years, Sandy; children, Danielle (Brent), Theodore the III, and Robert (Kate); grandchildren, Morgan, Westley, Noah, Kaia and River; sister, Bobbie Gulley; sister and brother in laws along with family; and his two French mastiff, Jules and Jeri. Ted was born Sep. 16th, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, to Robert and Bernice Stenzinger. After retiring, he and Sandy moved to Duluth, MN in 2002, where they found a home they could remodel to see the views of Lake Superior from their window or deck. Ted liked to watch his favorite TV shows with Sandy like Jerry Springer, Maury, and Judge Judy. Ted also liked watching older movies like monster movies and Charlie Chan mystery movies. Ted loved to write his books "Books by Bearr". Ted also loved to play the Powerball, Gopher 5, North Star cash, Mega Million, and Hot Lotto. Ted had so many stories he would love to tell about his life. Ted overall had a wonderful sarcastic sense of humor that was loved by his Daughter Dani and grandchildren especially. VISITATION: 1 pm Saturday, May 20th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with funeral to follow at 2 pm. Private family burial to take place at Sunrise Memorial Park.
