Sylvia Anne (Bjorlin) Wallace, 72, of Duluth, Minn. passed away July 25, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital. Sylvia was born to Howard and Mabel Bjorlin on May 13, 1947. She graduated from Denfeld High School to attend the College of St. Scholastica. Sylvia was an advocate for women's rights and spent time volunteering at local women's shelters, always opening her arms to anyone in need. She spoke many languages; Cat, dog, bird, or fish, she could speak them all. The family extends their gratitude to St. Luke's ICU and Dr. Kleinschmidt. Sylvia is survived by her children, Kelly (Darrin) Johnson, Rachel and Jeremy Wallace; grandchildren, Emily, Sydney, Tess, Zoey, Ritchie, and Natalie; brother, Paul (Shari) Bjorlin; and family. Celebration of Life will be held August 17th from Noon - 4 p.m. at Chambers Grove Park, 13404 MN-23, Duluth. Donations may be made to Caring Bridge and will assist in paying medical bills.
