Stella L. Lindberg, 93, of Duluth, died on Wednesday January 2, 2013 in Essentia Health, St. Mary's Hospital.  She was born in Fosston, MN on March 7, 1919 to Hans and Anna Smelver.  She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  She worked at the Arlington Home as a Cook.  Stella loved to garden, knit and crochet; she will be remembered as a wonderful cook and baker. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, daughter Sharon LePage, a great-granddaughter Faith Bennett, and sisters Caroline Lenes and Dora Emerson. She is survived by her daughters Lavonne (Don) Johnson of Eveleth, MN, Lola (Tom) Sibcy of Pueblo, CO, and Lois (Douglas) Hoffbauer of Proctor, MN, ten grandchildren, twenty-three  great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, and sister Wilma Pingatore of Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 13, 2013 from 1:00PM until the 2:00PM Funeral Service in Sunrise Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home.
