Sherry Ann Berndt (Bryce), 64, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Sherry was born on June 2, 1962, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Alva Jane (Kettlehut) Bryce and Merle Jay Bryce. She attended Central High School and spent many years working as a restaurant general manager while also dedicating herself to her family as a homemaker.

Sherry cherished time spent with her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending country music concerts, but her greatest joy in life was being "Gram" to her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Jane Bryce and Merle Jay Bryce; her brother, Eugene Bryce; and her beloved husband, Randy Berndt.

Sherry is lovingly survived by her son, Eric Berndt; her daughter, Stephanie Berndt; her cherished grandchildren, Alex Berndt, Aliyah Edberg, Kingston Edberg, and Delilah Edberg; her stepfather, David Kettlehut; and her siblings, Merle Bryce Jr. (Sandy), Ann Fosness (David), Scott Kettlehut (Shelly), David Lee Kettlehut (Amy), and James Kettlehut (Kim Miller).

A funeral service celebrating Sherry's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Sunrise Funeral Home.
