IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon Lydia
Ruth Verjovsky
October 9, 1940 – September 9, 2022
Sharon Lydia Ruth Verjovsky, 81, died on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital in PA, after a short illness. Sharon had been a resident for a year at Keystone Villa, Ephrata, PA, where she had made many new friends. She was a long-time proud resident of St. Paul, MN moving to the area in 1986 from Duluth, MN.
Sharon was born to Helmer Ruth and Helen Wentela on October 9, 1940, in Hermantown, MN. Sharon found her calling in life in property management as a valued employee of StuartCo. She took great pride in providing a clean, safe, and enjoyable home for her residents. In her leisure, she loved to travel, which took her to Finland, Peru, Argentina, Israel, Germany, Belgium, France, England, and the Netherlands. Yet nothing drew her more than Lake Superior. It was the place she found the most peace even when it was churning from a storm. She was an avid reader, a student of life, and empathized with anyone going through a difficult time.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edward Andrews; second husband, Joseph Verjovsky; grandson, Jonathan Boman; brothers-in-law, Ellard Briesemeister and Larry Huttel; and nephew, Duane Huttel.
Sharon is survived by many family and friends who will miss her kindness and care including her daughter, Kaye (Jim) Peloquin of Ephrata, PA; grandsons, Joshua (Dexter Phan) Peloquin and Colton (Sara Gundrum) Peloquin of Lancaster, PA; sisters, Barbara Huttel of Duluth, MN, Karen Briesemeister and Debra (Frank) Mazzocco of Minneapolis, MN; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial of Sharon's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 24th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, MN.
