Sharon Rae Field, 76, of Duluth died on February 21, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN. Sharon was born on October 23, 1939 in Duluth, MN to Barbara and Roy Hack. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Field in 1978, and by her mother and father, Barbara and Roy Hack. Sharon graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1957. Sharon worked at and was a manager for the downtown Duluth Fanny Farmer Candy Store for many years. Since 1985, Sharon worked for her son (Kevin) at Arrowhead Vending, Proctor Video, and the Field Station. Sharon's smile and friendly personality will be missed by all. Sharon is survived by her sons, Marvin (Susan) Field of Shakopee, MN, Kevin (Deb) Field of Proctor, MN, daughter, Terri Field of Esko, MN; brothers, Gary Hack (Judy Zomerfelt) and Barry (Wendy) Hack; significant other- Tim Frantz, and family; grandchildren, Andrew (Tara) Field, Adam Field, Aaron (Katie) Field, Joseph (Brenda) Field, and Jennifer (TJ) Kastl; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 28th at Sunrise Funeral Home, Hermantown, MN. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 pm, with a service to follow.
