Sharon Dillon, 69, of Duluth, passed away peacefully at Solvay Hospice House on Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2017. Sharon was born September 4th, 1947, to Wes and Renee Doble. She graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1965. Sharon married Herb Dillon in 1969, and together raised two children. Mostly by Sharon as Herb was always working. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital Duluth (now Essentia) as a Housekeeper and Nurses Aide and then Nopeming Nursing Home as an Aide until leaving with her husband for Ft Riley. After returning home in 1976, she worked for many years as a playground supervisor at Lester Park School. She raised two Children, took care of the house, was an avid gardener, and an amazing scrap booker. She was always coming up with ingenious ways to motivate her grandchildren. Sharron was preceded in death by her father, Wes. Sharron is survived by her "Future EX" husband, Herb; sons, Herbie and Travis (Allie); grandchildren, Taylor, Sadie and Lukas; mother, Renee; sister, Donna (Jim) Collard; brother, Steven (Cathy) Doble; and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her 3 sisters of the heart- Linda, Cindy & Cheryl. Thank you to all who cared for her all these years - She wouldn't have had them without. At Sharon's request, no services will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, Feb. 10th from 1 - 3 pm at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown.
