Sharon (Bailey) Carroll age 75 passed away Thursday July 23, 2015 at Benedictine Health Center from ALS.   She was born on April 19, 1940 to Floyd and Helen (Clements) Bailey in Duluth. Sharon graduated from Denfeld High School in 1958. She was a homemaker for many years. After raising her children she worked for Sears as a sales clerk for 10 years. Sharon was united in marriage to her second husband Daniel Amell on October 10, 2000. She enjoyed painting, polka and ball room dancing, spending time with the red hat society, shopping, visiting with relatives and friends, hosting parties, and traveling to Arizona in the winter. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband: Daniel Amell, daughter Julie (Craig) Martinson sons: George (Kelly) Carroll, Terry (Jennifer) Carroll, and Raymond Carroll and Dan's daughters: Kathryn (Mark) Berg, Jeanne (Greg) Musolf and son Daniel T. Amell. 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, Mother Joyce, sisters Karon (Tom) Helquist, June (Paul) Sullivan, Kandice (Richard) Zinter and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Benedictine Health Center for all the care and support to our family. Funeral Service Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11 am with visitation one hour to prior at Sunrise Funeral Home and Cemetery 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy Hermantown, MN. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.
