Shannon Marie Doherty, 30, of Moose Lake, MN passed away on October 30, 2023 in Duluth.

Shannon was born in Duluth on December 25, 1992 to Tim and Lori Doherty. She graduated from Proctor High School and went on to Lake Superior College. She got her degree as an R.N. while earning a position on the Dean's List.

Shannon found solace and joy in nature. Whether she was gliding on the water while wakeboarding, casting a fishing line, or reveling in the tranquility of camping, her adventurous spirit thrived in the great outdoors. Her love of cooking and knitting illuminated her creative soul, bringing comfort and warmth to those fortunate enough to experience her talents.

Shannon was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Barb Hanson and William Doherty; sister, Jamie Pelletier; aunt, Tami Hendricks; and uncles, Jim Doherty and Doug Hendricks.

Shannon was survived by her parents, Tim and Lori; brother, Jerry (Sally) Pelletier; grandma, Lorraine Doherty; and many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation to be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Friday, November 10th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Funeral service at 1 PM and reception to follow.
