Rollin Dennis Norman, 85, of Duluth, Minnesota passed away on December 26, 2023. He was born on February 23, 1938 in Duluth, Minnesota. Rollin was a beloved individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rollin had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and find common ground, whether it was through a shared acquaintance, a neighbor he had delivered mail to, or a mutual love for classic cars. His gift for conversation and storytelling was a source of joy and laughter for those around him. He was also the keeper of family history and memories, with a wealth of knowledge about generations past. Rollin's love for his family and friends was unwavering, and he always made time for those he cared about.

As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Rollin found solace and worship at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, where he connected with fellow believers and nurtured his faith. He shared his faith with others including sailors who docked in Duluth on foreign ships. He used his personal testimony, music, and resources in various languages to bring the gospel to those he encountered.

Rollin had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending time on the water, creating cherished memories with family and friends. He was always up for an ambitious game of Scrabble and he cherished the annual Men's Steak Fry at his cabin on Boulder Lake, where prayers and fishing often intertwined.

Rollin attended Lowell Elementary School, Washington Junior High School, and then graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1956. Following his studies, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a Postal Carrier, serving the community from 1959 to 1993.

Rollin is survived by his brothers, Don Norman and Richard Norman; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and their children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Luella Norman; father, Herbert Norman; and brothers, Howard Norman, James Norman, and Paul Norman.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W Superior St, with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rollin Norman will be remembered for his kind heart, laughter, and his unwavering faith. His presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
