Rolene W. Rogers, 66, of Duluth, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 from an accident involving her loved scooter. She was born on Aug. 28, 1950 in Duluth, MN. Rolene worked a few different places in her life, the last being at Cell One. She married the love of her life, Kenny Rogers, on June 14, 2008. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Rogers; her furry best friend and companion, CiCi; parents, Roland and Lucille Ehlenbach; and father-in-law, Bud Rogers. She is survived by her children, Tami (Curt) Davey, Rebecca Lawrence (Darrel), Rachel (Joseph) Knudsen, Jennifer (Dan) Luiten, Jim (Chelle) Rogers, and Joe Rogers (Tawni); 22 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Tammy Hayes, Bonnie Fritch, and Melody Ehlenbach; brothers, Tim Ehlenbach and Dean Ehlenbach; brother-in-laws, Russell Rogers, Joe Rogers, Tom Rogers, Robert Jr. Rogers; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Levine and Lisa Clinch; and special friends Linda, Toni, and Barb Carlson. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the St. Luke's nursing staff for the remarkable care Rolene received; especially R.N. Mykle, who was a blessing to her family. Visitation: 12:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Sunrise Memorial Park Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown.
