Roger "Pops" Lloyd Larsen Jr., 61, of Duluth, passed peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of January 27, 2024 at St Luke's Hospital after a short illness.

Roger was born at Essentia Health St Mary's hospital to Roger Sr. and Ella Larsen on August 15, 1962.

Roger struggled throughout his life. Through God he resolved those issues and became a man of faith, refocusing his life on his family and friends. Toward the end of his life, he was dedicated to working with people who had the same needs he once had, reaching out to them with both compassion and faith.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Ella (Bruyere) Larsen.

Roger is survived by his sons, Roger (Jessica) III, Richard, Randy, and Ryan, and their mother, Suzanne Larsen; grandchildren, Mila and Ava Larsen; father, Roger Lloyd Larsen Sr.; siblings, Ed (Sue) Bruyere, Yvonne (Jerry) Malone, Bruce, Barbara, and Sheila (Roy) Darker; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life to be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 11th at Mustard Tree Baptist Duluth, 404 West Superior St. with reception to follow. On-street parking available or in the ramp behind the church.
