Roger Merril Bleibaum, 84, passed away in Gold Canyon, AZ on Friday, December 15, 2023. Roger was born in Duluth to Earl and Lillian (Holmstrom) Bleibaum and was a 1958 graduate of Denfeld High School.  On March 18, 1961 he married Marilyn Murray and together they raised three children.

Roger worked for Minnesota Power, at the Thompson Hydro Electric Station, for 30 years, prior to his retirement in 1994. He and his wife Marilyn also owned and operated Roger's Greenhouse in Midway Township for over 40 years. In his retirement years Roger enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, eating good food, and spending time with family and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn Bleibaum; and his parents.

Roger is survived by his children, Kim (Ken) Polson of Gold Canyon, AZ., Jim (Ann) Bleibaum (Ann) of Duluth, and David Bleibaum of MN; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Evan Polson of Running Springs CA., and Alisha and Calee Nylander of Duluth; great-grandchildren, Coley Hester, Rowen Hester, Laythan Nylander, Thayer Nylander, and Elowynn Mihalek of Duluth; sister, June Lapp of Proctor, MN; and his partner of many years, Sally Smith of Apache Junction, AZ.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 28th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. Interment at Oneota Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
