Roberta Corrine Catherine (Brouse) Wallace, 86, of Duluth passed away on November 19, 2015, at home. Roberta was born on September 7, 1929, to Ross and Katherine Brouse in Duluth, MN. She married Lawrence "Roy" Wallace on August 16, 1947. Roberta devoted her energy to family, friends, and community, and impacted many lives. She was a gifted baker and many of her recipes will continue to live on. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, watching animated movies/cartoons, and never missed Dancing with the Stars if she could help it. She was actively involved in the Rhoda Circle at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Valley Homemakers, Lakeview Garden Club, AARP, and Pequaywan Lakes Association, holding office in several of them. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son, Andrew; sister, Donna; and brother, Carlton. She is survived by her brother, Ross; beloved cat, Sophie; children, Diana (Bob) McDonough, Julaine (Marsh) Ostronski, Larry (Julie) Wallace, Gary (Doreen) Wallace, Ted (Lita) Wallace; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 00:00 at Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
