Bobbe Granmoe, age 62 of Duluth, passed away on March 5, 2016 at Mayo Clinic while surrounded by family after a long, hard fight with lymphoma. Bobbe was born in Duluth on July 14, 1953 to Leonard and Eleanor Rowson. On August 25, 1973 she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart and soulmate Craig Granmoe. Together, they raised two daughters that she was extremely proud of. Her daughters gave her two grandsons that she loved with all her heart. Bobbe retired from the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services after 41 years of service, a job she loved with coworkers that became close friends. She enjoyed spending time with family at the cabin, watching her grandnieces, Kirsten and Kaylee grow up. Last summer, Bobbe enjoyed spending the entire summer at the cabin after initially beating cancer in 2014. Bobbe is preceded in death by her parents. Bobbe is survived by her husband of 42 years, Craig; daughters, Angie (Nick) Hassett, Jennie (Mike) Joslin; two grandsons, Archer Joslin, Colin Hassett; brother, Dick (Terry) Rowson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 13th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Sunrise Cemetery.
