Robert Baden Newberg, 87, of Duluth , died peacefully at home Oct. 27, 2016. He was born to Hans and Clara Newberg Jan. 5, 1929. He owned and operated Newbergs Floor Sanding over 65 years. Newb also enjoyed his many hours spent at the "Cabin" where many memories and friends were made. Another favorite past time was sapping time, sharing his famous maple syrup with many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Harry and Louis. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; sons, Louis (Zora), and Hans (Carrie); daughter, Dawn (Luke) Madrinich; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special niece, Sandra (Roy) Ross; and three nephews. VISITATION: 5 p.m. Thursday Nov. 3, until the 6 p.m. memorial service in the Apostolic Gospel Church, 3882 Haines Rd Duluth.
