Rev. Robert "Bob" Lloyd Mattila Sr., age 76, met the Lord on August 12, 2015.   He was born on May 9, 1939 to Robert and Hilda (Maijala) in Duluth, MN. Bob attended Central High School and served in the Army. He was a Sales Engineer at Mielke Electric for 25 years. Bob earned a Bachelors Degree of Biblical Theology at age 70. He lead a senior fellowship "The Golden Eagles Ministry" and he published "Points to Ponder" and was a member of the Harvest Network International Evangelical Association (HNI). Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Arnold, Marcie Ceryes, and Carolyn Meagher. Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara, children; Robert Jr. (Kim Miner), Brenda (Mike) Bugbee, Bradley (Terri) and Bernice (Eloy) Garcia; sister Jackie(Jeffrey) Krueger, nine grandsons, one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staffs of Essintia Health, Chris Jensen and Hospice. Funeral Service Tuesday August 18, 2015 at 1 pm with visitation one hour prior to service at Sunrise Funeral Home 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy Hermantown, MN. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery.
