Robert "Bob" Scott Lake, 85, of Maple Grove, MN, quietly passed away on June 29, 2024 at Robbinsdale North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.

Bob was born on April 14, 1939 in Duluth, MN to Hildur and William Lake. He graduated from Clover Valley High School in French River in 1957, working for the D.M. & I.R. in Two Harbors, MN. In 1963 he began a career with the Milw. Rd. Soo Line/Canadian Pacific RR, retiring as a Senior Claims Adjuster.

Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlotte; sons, Ronald "Ron" (Tawnyea) of Duluth, and Robert "Rob" (Karie) of Albertville; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Alek Lake of Mpls, Kassandra "Kassie", Katrina "T" and Austin Lake of Albertville; siblings, Darla Meier of Duluth, and Kathy Lake of Seattle, WA; sisters-in-law, Carole Carlson of Two Harbors, and Roberta (Kenny) Sien of Eden Prairie; nieces; Charlotte Ann Kirby (Rick) of Kentucky, Cynthia Sexton of Edina, and Connie (Paul) Marcotte of Mpls; nephew, Mark (Julie) Carlson of Lakeville; and was great-uncle to Nicole, Eric, Hailey, Joe and Spencer.

Bob felt close to each and every one, loving his family very much. He was always planning events that would bring them together. He will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 26th at Saints Mary & Joseph Church in Sawyer, MN. Committal and Entombment at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown, MN, with Celebration of Life to follow at 2:30PM at Sunrise Funeral Home.
