Robert W. Johnson age 77, of Duluth, MN. Passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at the St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. Bob was born in Duluth, MN. The son of Wilfred and Linnea Johnson, Nee: Englund on August 13, 1937. Bob grew up and attended school in Proctor, MN. After High School he worked in the area. In 1958 he met and married Carole. They have made there home in the Duluth area until the present. He retired from Minnesota Power in 1995. Bob enjoyed getting together every year with his High School sports buddies. Bob had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the occasional prank with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Carole of 56 years. Three daughters Penny (Jeff), Robin (Tim), Michelle (Tom), 8 grand children Jason, (Courtney), Kim, (Ryan), Andrew, Desiree, Jordan, Brennan, Alexa, Alaina. One great grandson Jack. Two brothers Bill ( Roberta ), Larry ( Joan), and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Sunrise Funeral home in Hermantown with Visitation 1 hour prior to services.
