Robert "Bob" David Graff, 99 years young, passed away on April 16, 2025.
Bob was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 8,1926 to David and Hattie. He was raised Catholic and attended Cretin High School in St. Paul, where he excelled as a great athlete setting records in track and field. Bob served in WWII as a proud Marine. Throughout his lifetime, Bob was an avid pheasant hunter, and enjoyed spending time traveling with his wife Darlene, and living in their RV in Florida. A pioneer in the petroleum equipment industry, he was a Co-founder of Graffco, Inc., whose products are sold around the world. His drive, work ethic, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. They broke the mold after he was born.
Bob is survived by wife of 50 years, Darlene (Jofs); daughter, Mary (Robert) Johnson; sons, James (Jill), Daniel (Diana), and Thomas; stepson, Eric Mattson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private committal service with Military Honors to be held at the MN State Veterans Cemetery – Duluth. A Celebration of his Life will be held this summer in the Twin Cities area, details to be announced.
