Robert "Bob" John Carson, 68, of Duluth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born in Madison, WI, on December 8, 1948, to Robert O. & Doris (Gotchie) Carson. He graduated from East High School, then joined the US Air Force in 1967. He served for 21 years on Travis A.F.B., CA before retiring as a Master Sargent. He then worked 20 years as a Postal Carrier in Duluth, retiring in 2013. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family.  Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Toy; children, Bobby, Ouitdee (Kelly), and Diem (Leonard); grandchildren, Zach, Courtney, Kaitlin, and Ethan; and brothers, Bruce (Cindy) and Lee. VISITATION: 1 pm on Friday, Sept. 1st at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm.
