Robert “Bob” Gerald Renaud, 77, of Proctor, Minnesota, passed away on August 3, 2026, at St. Mary’s Essentia Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.

Bob was born in Duluth, MN to Thomas and June Renaud on June 10, 1949. He graduated from Proctor High School and served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1975. He then worked as a plumber for the Western Lake Superior Piping Industry until he retired.

Bob enjoyed going to his camper on Bent Trout Lake and looked forward to putting on the fireworks display there for the Fourth of July. He spent months planning his displays and traveling to Wisconsin and North Dakota to get fireworks.

Bob was married to the love of his life, Deb, until her passing in 2019. He is survived by his children, Jamie Renaud, Shayne Harnden, and Scott (Genah) Renaud; stepson Chad (Kelli) Johnson; grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Emily, Mikel, and Josephine; granddogs Tex and Mocha; siblings Mary (Tom) Lambert, and Leslie (Lee) Carlson, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on August 21, 2026, at Sunrise Funeral Home, located at 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, MN.
