Richard Allen Walsh, 72, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Duluth on November 6, 1945, to Gerald & Elizabeth Walsh. Richard worked as a machinist at Superior-Lidgerwood-Mundy Co., American Hoist and Derrick, and Clyde Iron Works. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a sports fan of his grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Duane and Thomas. Richard is survived by his wife of 43 years, Charlu Telando Walsh; children, Mark and Jill (Mark) Bodenner; grandchildren, Taylor, Chase, Devin, Archer, and Everett; and many nieces and nephews. Private family service to be held at a later date. Richard was a kind and giving soul, and the family requests memorials be made to St. Luke's Foundation in his honor, 1000 East First Street, Suite 102, Duluth, MN 55805.
