Obituary

Richard "Dick" Earl Graves, 85, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Diamond Willow in Proctor.

Dick was born June 6, 1937 to Earl and Sylvia Graves and attended Hermantown High School. He worked as a bus driver for Duluth Transit Authority for 30 years. He was a member of Elim Lutheran Church for 60 years. Dick enjoyed throughout his years helping family and friends, hunting, archery, camping, fishing, traveling, woodcarving, restoring and collecting antique cars, and working in his garage. He was also able to enjoy being a winter Texan for 20 years.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Arlene, Clarence, Gene, and Ken.

Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean; sons, Donald (Cindy), Wayne (Eve) and Dale (Tara); grandsons, Brian (Erin), Brandon, Matthew, Jacob, Justin, and Jase; great-grandson, William; sister, Carol (Walt Myshack) Swanstrom; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday Aug. 27, 2022 at Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody St, Duluth, with Memorial Service at 11:00 AM and Reception to follow.
