Rebecca "Beckie" Lynn Hensley-Voeltz, 59, of Duluth, MN, passed away on May 12th, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Beckie was born in Long Beach, CA to Byron Richard Pruden and Cynthia Ellen Pruden (Gass) on August 18th, 1962. She went to high school at Irvine High and graduated in 1981. Beckie had high hopes of going to school to be a pharmacy tech, but chose to live a care free life and travel the country. In 1984, Beckie became pregnant with her first child, Ashley, and from there on her focus became her daughter and prevailing as a strong and independent single mother. In the years to come, Beckie would have three more children, Frank, Thomas, and Kyle. She was meant to be a mother, and not just to her biological children. You see, Beckie had a heart of gold. There was never a time you weren't welcomed with open arms, like she had known you for an eternity. She never said no to the children her kids would befriend, and eventually became a mother figure to so many, including her first grandchild's mother, Charity. In 2010, Beckie married the love of her life, Mark David Voeltz in Las Vegas, NV. Together, they loved to camp, attend local staple events, ride Harley's, and even took several motorcycle trips across the country. Beckie enjoyed dancing, country music, her dogs: Harley, Duke and Heidi, doing her nails, shopping, and sweet treats.

Beckie was preceded in death by her parents, Cynthia Ellen (40), Byron Richard (44); grandparents, Russell & Dorothy E. Gass and John B. & June and Grace Pruden; and grandson, Gauge.

Beckie is survived by her husband, Mark; daughter, Ashley Pruden-Hensley; sons, Frank, Thomas and Kyle Hensley; adopted daughter, Charity Wise; grandchildren, Gavynn, Ever, Aubree, Danny, Axtyn, Bentley, Kiana, Kira, and Kora; sisters, Gaylene (Robert) Willis and Patricia (Kevin) Hausner; nieces and nephews; and many chosen loved ones.

Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 AM on June 10, 2022 at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN 55811, with Celebration of Life to follow after service at 12:30 PM at Vintage Italian Pizza (VIP), 1201 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880.
