Rachel Elizabeth Anderson, 87, was taken to her heavenly home to meet her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2025 in St. Lukes Hospital. She lived a life of service as a Salvation Army officer and an LPN until chronic illness caused early retirement. She was blessed with an incredible gift of music, especially accordion and piano.

Rachel was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry and David; as well as her beloved parents, Clifford and Violet Anderson.

Rachel is survived by her sister, Eva (Robert) Johnsen; niece, Joy (Dan) Loban; nephews, Tim (Heather) Johnsen and Ben (Anna) Johnsen;10 great-nieces and nephews; several cousins; and best friend since 5th grade in Sweden, Britt.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2nd at the chapel in Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth.
