Loving mother, Peggy Jo Stocke, 80, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on April 5, 2024, at St. Lukes Hospital.

Peggy was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Irma and Carl Anderson on December 3, 1943. She graduated from Duluth East High School in 1961. Peggy worked in banking in a variety of roles including teller, loan officer, and office manager prior to her retirement from Duluth City and County Employees Credit Union. Peggy and Paul built several new homes together for their family and, upon their retirement, moved to Aerie Lake where they enjoyed pontoon rides, campfires, gardening, and watching the eagles who nested nearby. Peggy had a keen eye for interior design, enjoyed bowling, gardening, making new friends wherever she would go, and - most importantly - spending time with her family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul; parents; sister, Dr. Claudia Johnson; brother, Bob Anderson; and several in-laws.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Dennis of Esko and Dave (Sue) of Hermantown; daughters, Pam (Bob) Mudek of Esko and Paula (Paula Larson) Stocke of Mountain Iron; grandchildren, Sarah, Shay (Kassie), MaKenna, Steve (Whitney), Danielle, Mike, Kevin (Em), Samantha; Kelsey (Mac), Riley, Bailey, Cameron, Siri, and Jolie; 11 great-grandchildren; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to those that provided care for Peggy over the last few years.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 19th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, with Memorial service at 11:30 AM and reception to follow.
