Paul Edward Stocke, 76, of Hermantown, MN passed away on March 4, 2018 in his home with his loving wife by his side. Paul was born in Duluth, MN on May 12, 1941 to Martin and Agnes Stocke. He attended Hermantown High School. Paul drove oil delivery trucks for over 30 years as a Teamster and retired from ICO. Paul was quite the handyman. He built four beautiful homes for his family and helped many others with various projects. Paul enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, watching sports and his favorite programs on television, and watching the eagles at his home on Aerie Lake. Paul mostly loved spending quality time with his family. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Agnes; brothers, Bob, Les, Tom, Bill; brother-in-law, Bob Anderson, sister-in-law, Dr. Claudia Johnson, and his favorite pup, Toto. Paul is survived by his wife, Peggy, of 56 years; two sons, Dennis of Esko and David (Sue) of Hermantown; two daughters, Pam (Bob) Mudek of Esko and Paula (Paula Larson) of Mountain Iron; 16 grandchildren, Sarah (Ty), Jordan, Rikki, Shay (Kassie), MaKenna; Steve (Whitney), Danielle, Mike, Kevin (Em), Samantha; Kelsey (Mac), Riley, Bailey; Cameron, Siri, Jolie; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Mary), Rick (Mariann); sisters, Charlotte Steele, MaryAnn Kelner, sister-in-law, Lorie Stocke; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Luke's Hospice staff and special volunteers: Bob, Patty, and Joanne. VISITATION: 10:30am Friday, March 16 at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN with a memorial service to follow at 11:30am.
