Paul Martin Ostroot, 67, of Duluth, MN, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Paul was born in Duluth to Dean and Mary Ostroot on April 2, 1955. He went to high school at Duluth Central and graduated in 1973. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He worked as a mechanical and project engineer for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fast cars, spending time with his many friends, and getting a good deal. He raced his '66 Chevelle at the Apollo Dragway in Superior, WI, traveled by motor yacht from Minneapolis to the Florida Keys, and earned his Professional Engineer License in Wisconsin. Best of all, he loved living on the lake—Lac Courte Oreilles near Hayward, WI, and Island Lake in Minnesota, "Life's better on the lake."

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Mary; and brother, John.

Paul is survived by his siblings, Ann, Judy, and Bill; nephew, Dean; and nieces, Mary and Wendy.

Per Paul's request no services to be held. Private committal and burial at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery with his parents and brother.
